Education Quality of Islamic Azad University to Improve

TEHRAN Improving the quality of education is the most important plan of the Islamic Azad University during the Third Five-Year Development Plan, Chancellor of the Islamic Azad University Abdollah Jasbi said here Monday. Speaking at a ceremony held to introduce the new head of Arak's Branch of Islamic Azad University, he added that the university's academic goal is to achieve international standards in higher education.
He added that currently, 600,000 students are studying at the university branches throughout the country and so far, 500,000 students have graduated from the university. Jasbi said that preserving Islamic values is another goal of the university during the Third Five-Year Development Plan. (IRNA)
